Details about reeds made with Shaper Form WITT
Cane from Silvacane with a diameter of 9.50 to 10 mm is used. After gouging with the Gouging Machine PASSIN, the cane reaches a thickness of 0.56 – 0.58 mm. The pieces of cane are then shaped using the Shaper Form WITT. For tying, a 45 mm Klopfer D11 Staple is used. After trimming, the tied reeds have a final length of approximately 68.5 mm. These reeds are characterized by a clear yet round sound and offer a reliable playing feel.
