SC Labels – What Do They Mean?

FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, an international organization committed to responsible forest management.

FSC labels indicate the sources of wood or paper products and how they have been processed along the supply chain.

FSC 100%

The product is made entirely from wood sourced from FSC-certified forests.

FSC Mix

A mixture of FSC-certified material, recycled material, and/or controlled sources.

FSC Recycled

The product is made entirely from recycled material.

What Does the FSC License Code Mean?

The FSC license code (e.g., FSC® C123456) is a unique identification number assigned to a company.

It confirms that a company is FSC-certified, allows the use of FSC labels, and ensures that the supply chain is verified and traceable.

The license code always belongs to the company, not to an individual product.
