Details on Gregor Witt’s Reeds
Gregor Witt uses cane from Silvacane with a diameter of 9.50 to 10 mm. After gouging with the PASSIN gouging machine, the cane reaches a thickness of 0.56 – 0.58 mm. For tying, he uses a 45 mm long Klopfer D11 Staple. After trimming, the tied reeds have a final length of approximately 68.5 mm. The Reeds of Gregor Witt impress with a clear yet full-bodied sound.
