Traditional Gouging Machine
Prof. Günther Passin considered reed-making an integral part of his pedagogical mission.
His demands and our expertise led to the modernization of traditional gougers.
Our machine is manufactured from one solid block of aluminum.
Because of that, all important functional parts are precisely positioned and guarantee accuracy.
The blade can be changed easily, and the modern eccentric positioner
replaces multiple screws for effortless adjustments.
The gouging thickness is adjusted by turning the graduated knob.
The click mechanism with its 5/1000 mm steps allows precise work.
An engraving shows in which direction to turn the knob.
