A Personal Note

Today I would like to personally inform you that, as of early 2026, Dominik Schulz has joined the management team at Reeds ’n Stuff as Co-Managing Director. I am very grateful that he is willing to take on responsibility for our company. Together with him, Peter Brückner will continue to lead the company as co-owner and managing director, as before.

Why this change?

Because Reeds ’n Stuff has never been just one person. This company thrives on the people who work here and on what we have built together. Out of a sense of responsibility toward our employees and the company we have built, I am now also thinking about the time after I leave – and about preparing a smooth, sustainable transition.

Reeds ’n Stuff has grown over many years: alongside our customers, our partners, and musicians from all over the world. Long before I became an entrepreneur, I performed on stage as an oboist myself. I know what it means to have to rely on your reed at the crucial moment. That’s why trust, care, and a genuine understanding of music have been the foundation of our work from the very beginning.

Dominik Schulz and Peter Brückner continue to uphold this commitment – not as a mere promise, but out of a deep-seated conviction. That is why I would like to briefly introduce them to you once again below.

Dominik Schulz

Dominik brings something that cannot simply be taught: he is a musician. As I once was. He understands what you are looking for, not just as a supplier, but as someone who plays the instrument himself.

Over the past years he has taken on more and more responsibility – in product development, in our relationships with customers, at exhibitions and masterclasses. He is firmly rooted in the community. That's not a coincidence – it's who he is.

Peter Brückner

Peter has been the backbone of our day-to-day operations for years. If you have ever received a quick answer to an urgent question, or experienced an order that simply worked – that was Peter, often without you knowing it.

He knows the company inside and out; he understands our values, and he lives by them. For decades, we have made all the important decisions for Reeds ’n Stuff together. I am not handing over a task that is foreign to him. I am entrusting him with the task of successfully advancing Reeds ’n Stuff in an increasingly dynamic digital world.

I myself won’t be stepping down overnight. Going forward, I’ll be able to focus more on the strategic development of Reeds ’n Stuff and actively drive the generational transition. I’ll continue to travel, engage in discussions, and contribute ideas.

And I do so with a great sense of satisfaction: knowing that the company is in good hands – hands that not only understand the spirit of this company, but also live by it.
