This strope has four different sides to help you perfectly sharpen your knives.
1- Fine sedimentary stone from Thuringia for honing your blade. Please only use water and not oil on this side.
2- Red leather. This side has been pre-treated with a fine red abrasive paste, which can also be ordered from us.
3- Black leather. This side has been pre-treated with an ultra-fine black abrasive paste, also available for purchase separately. This paste comes in blue packaging.
4- This side is for honing your blade and removing the burr. Take care to clean your blade with a towel before using this side.
Used by doctors to sharpen scalpels.
