The Cut1 is the world’s first oboe reed made entirely from a single piece, without any binding, gluing, or welding. This construction ensures exceptionally even vibration and prevents any slipping or deformation while playing. Additionally, the Cut1 offers a warm and soft sound as well as excellent response across all registers. Thanks to its slim cut, intonation has been perfected.
Compared to the Cut2, the Cut1 plays slightly deeper in pitch.
