The Anche Brillante reeds are characterised by a free vibrating, good response in the lower register and a balanced intonation.
The sound is clear, warm and rich in overtones - not bright but not muffled either.
The reeds have a European scraping and moderate resistance as well as a powerful crow.
All of them are tested on a Marigaux 901.
At the beginning, the reeds should be carefully played in. This takes a few days to a week, and similar to a new instrument, the playing time should be gradually increased. .
Meanwhile, the reeds may still change a little and may need refinishing.
