The French company Vandoren is world-renowned for the manufacture of high-quality wind instrument accessories, particularly for clarinets and saxophones. It was founded in 1905 by Eugène Van Doren, a solo clarinettist with the Paris Opera Orchestra. The company originally began with the production of handmade clarinet reeds, which quickly gained recognition in musical circles. Today, Vandoren produces a wide range of reeds, mouthpieces, ligatures and other accessories.
