This French cane is harvested in the northern Camargue region. Three generations have successively contributed to the success of Alliaud SARL: Mr. François Alliaud, who succeeded Mr. Paul Alliaud, and finally Mr. Rémi Alliaud, who currently runs the company. It is relatively hard cane that provides consistent results. This cane is highly sought after amongst oboists. The bassoon cane segments are cut surprisingly long, and are consistently of a lighter color.
