His all-metal staples are a great example of this: Unlike traditional models with cork coverings, they allow more vibrations and thereby influence both the playing feel and the sound.

The gold-plated version of this staple additionally offers a slightly improved response as well as a warmer, rounder sound. The fine precious metal coating also increases corrosion resistance and ensures excellent durability. Since the gold plating adds only a minimal amount of material, the dimensions of the staple remain virtually unchanged, meaning that intonation is not affected. The tonal difference is subtle, but noticeable to many oboists in the character of the sound.

The inner bore of the Chudnow staple corresponds to the Chiarugi 2+ staple, allowing the corresponding Chiarugi 2+ mandrel to be used without any problems. In direct comparison, the Chudnow S has a slightly softer and more muted sound than the Chudnow E.

The R12 staple was developed in collaboration with Carlo Romano.
The aim was to achieve more volume when playing.

The basis for the development was the D12 staple. While the upper and lower dimensions of the staple have remained the same, the transition from the oval top to the round bottom is completely different. In terms of playing technique, the brass staple have similar properties to the original Klopfer or Glotin staples.
