Due to the floating bearing there is no contact with the instrument mechanics. The inner material is made of soft foam and covered with nylon velvet.

This instrument case fits an oboe, an oboe d’amore, and an English horn.

Thanks to the foam suspension, your instruments are securely held and well protected from damage. Small accessories can be stored in the interior compartment and the front pockets of the case, while thin items like sheet music can be conveniently placed in the back pocket. Additionally, two English horn bocals and three oboe d’amore bocals can be stored at the bottom of the case, belowthe instrument.

With this conversion kit, you can quickly transform your Double Case MB-2 for MARIGAUX M2 Oboe and English Horn into a compact Double Case for Oboe and English Horn.

- This is what your MB Double Case for MARIGAUX M2 looks like inside before you start changing the inlay.
- Now remove the padded parts for the MARIGAUX M2 oboe from the instrument case.
- Then place the padding parts of the conversion kit in the following positions in your double case. Now you can also use your MB-2 case for all other Oboes and English horns.

The instrument case consists of three components: an oboe case, an English horn case and a music case. All can be used individually or combined by means of zippers. Either the music case or the English horn case can be attached to the oboe case. A combination of all 3 cases is unfortunately not possible.

Note: This case does not fit for the Mönnig cor anglais model 180 RW, which comes with a second cup. Bonna makes a separate case specifically for this model of cor anglais.
