Ready to roll

An ingenious two-blade design prepares the cane prior to gouging.
The flat blade cuts the piece to the right width;
at the same time the patented round blade gouges it to almost the final dimensions.
After pregouging, only 3-4 strokes with a gouger are needed to finish the cane.
Even crooked pieces of cane can be gouged after being pregouged.

The anodized aluminum bed surface guarantees a long life.
By rotating the patented cylindrical blade,
you can use the entire perimeter of the blade.

If you are working on both bassoon and contra bassoon cane,
we recommend our exchange sets.
They make changing from one bed diameter to another very simple.

For comfort and safety, the included C-clamp
holds the machine securely to a table edge.
